We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to work as a member of the Go Active Membership and Systems team, providing an effective membership and systems support service for the Council’s Leisure Centres. Ideally, we are looking for someone with an understanding or experience of Leisure Centre customer services functions, who enjoys working as part of a team, has excellent communication skills with a good understanding of excellent service delivery.
You will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial, organisational processes associated within the effective administration of the Go Active Membership Scheme and associated I.T. Systems.
Duties will include providing a telephone point of contact for customer enquiries/ complaints for all sites, providing advice and guidance to staff and others and undertaking various administration procedures in respect of Go Active.
You must be able to prioritise your own workload, work to pre-determined deadlines, comply with relevant legal requirements and work procedures. This includes providing reception support and a help desk facility for system errors, amendments, problem solving, payment schedule amendments and changes to customer details.
Excellent customer care skills and verbal/written communication skills are essential, with ability to deal with members of the public and colleagues in a confident and enthusiastic manner
Hours of work will be 18.5 hours per week and you will be required to work flexibly to meet the operational hours and needs of the service. The role provides a great deal of variety on a day-to-day basis with the opportunity to contribute to a very vibrant and successful front-line service.
