St Helens Borough Council Traded Services department are looking to recruit a Cleaner to be based at St Marys Market, St Helens.
The hours of work 18.75 per week. The times of work are 1.15pm -5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Duties include routine and periodic cleaning in St Marys Market with all duties to be completed within Health & Safety regulations.
Applicants must have the ability to prioritise their work and have good communication skills as the successful candidate will be required to communicate with their Senior Cleaner and Supervisor, and on some occasions the general public. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and also in a team environment. You will also be expected to complete basic paperwork.
There may be the opportunity for additional work supporting cleaning teams located in schools around the borough.
Qualifications in Building Cleaning are desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will however be expected to undertake any relevant qualifications.
