The Governors of St Aidan’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary Learning Assistant at Level 2 with SEN responsibilities to start as soon as possible to work within the KS1.
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of working within the primary age group and preferably hold the Level 2 qualification. Knowledge/experience of working with children with autism, emotional, behavioural and physical difficulties would be advantageous, as would a willingness to undertake further training if required.
Hours will be: Monday to Friday 8.50am to 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch. Term time only plus 5 inset days. Total 30 hours and 50 minutes per week.
This post is temporary, linked to external funding and will cease in line with this or if the child leaves the setting.
