Making A Difference as A Virtual School Deputy Headteacher – Teaching Curriculum and Learning in Virtual School

The successful applicant will be based within the Virtual School, supporting and improving the academic outcomes of Looked After Children, Previously Looked After Children, Children in Kinship Care and Children with a Social Worker. This post will oversee the completion and quality of Personal Education Plans for all children and young people in care.

The successful applicant will also work with the School Effectiveness Team in ensuring schools and education settings have high quality teaching, a well-rounded curriculum and are able to support the academic needs of vulnerable children.

Any applicants will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of the educational needs of vulnerable children, as well any key documentation or legislation pertaining to the role.
