Job Description
The governors of St Anne’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant, in the KS2 department.
Hours 28.5 each week. Term time only + 5 INSET Days.
The post is temporary linked to funding and budget restrictions and will be from November 1st until August 2022.

This post requires a sound knowledge of child development, excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.

In addition, the post holder will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.

Previous experience of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and having worked in KS2 would be an advantage.

You will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. You will assist pupils so they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

The post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
