The Governors of Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Learning Assistant. - Required: from November 2023 until July 2024

The successful candidate will provide support for all pupils, including SEND pupils.
· General classroom duties supporting teaching and learning
· Supporting the class teacher to create a positive working relationship and environment, conducive to effective learning for all children and being able to motivate and inspire all children.

· High expectations and promotion of good behaviour
· Able to deliver small group sessions to help deepen children’s knowledge and understanding
· Eager to develop their skills and abilities
· Participate in training, other learning activities and performance development as required.
· Will fully support the school’s Catholic ethos and be committed to building pupils’ self-esteem, self-discipline and love of learning to underpin their progress in the basic skills. uphold our school motto ‘Live, Love, Learn. Together we will soar to new heights.’

NVQ Level 2 Qualification or above is desirable as is experience of working in a relevant primary phase as a Learning Assistant supporting the class teacher and learners.

Shortlisting: Monday 6th November
Tasks and Interview: Week commencing Tuesday 6th November – date and time will be confirmed.
