The Governing Body and Senior Leadership Team are seeking to secure a Teacher to secure a number of vacancies to start January 2024 or before. Please note there are Permanent and Temporary contracts available.

Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 222 children and young people, aged 3-16. All of our pupils have complex needs and have an EHCP in place. The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASC. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties. There is an expectation the successful candidate will work across the school however we would welcome experience of early child development. Experience of working with children with SEN and ASC/behavioural difficulties would be an advantage. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Inline with this, we may carry out a Social Media check on potential candidates prior to interview.

Key Aspects of the Role To fulfil the roles and responsibilities of a class teacher as defined by the Teachers’ Standards, namely Part One

· Demonstrating consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct
