Details:
The successful candidate will be required, under the leadership and guidance of the Head of Year, to:
- Use professional skills and judgement to assist in the development of students within your Year
- Take responsibility for a cross Year area such as Anti-Bullying initiatives
- Manage, with the Head of Year, a team of Tutors
- Work with Curriculum Leaders to motivate staff and learners to continually raise standards of achievement
- Provide appropriate mentorship for identified students
- Attend relevant meetings both in and out of the school, leading where appropriate
- Complete relevant referral forms, ensuring that paperwork is current
- Monitor IBPs and PSPs ensuring follow-up provision with relevant students
- Assist with the supervision of The Melrose Centre (Behaviour Support Base) as and when necessary
- Any other duties commensurate with the overall role as deemed appropriate by the Assistant Headteacher, in consultation with the Head
