Job Description

The governors are looking to appoint a highly motivated Play Assistant to work in our Breakfast and After-School Club providing a nurturing environment for children aged 3-11.

The hours of work may possibly increase to 5 hours in Breakfast Club and 6 hours in After-School Club. (days to be confirmed dependent on the take up of the places).

Breakfast Club: 3 hours per week 7:45 – 8:45 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Afterschool Club: 6 hours per week 3:30 to 5:30 Monday - Wednesdays

The successful candidate must be able to:

· Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age.

· Report any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/injuries to management

· Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
