About Us:

We are looking for a visionary leader to spearhead our ICT and Digital Delivery initiatives, as we embrace technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Modelling, and the Cloud to rethink and introduce new ways of working and thinking
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and implementation of our ICT, Digital and Data strategies 2024 – 2027.
- Oversee the delivery of ICT services (Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, Systems Support Unit, and Service Desk, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with the council’s goals.
- Drive digital innovation projects to ensure that we deliver the best possible services to our residents and partners.
- Manage and inspire a team of ICT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.

- Proven experience in ICT and digital leadership, preferably within a local government or public sector environment.
- Strong understanding of digital innovation and the ability to drive change.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex ICT projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
- Relevant qualifications in ICT, digital technologies, or a related field.
