This is an exciting opportunity to join the Income Section based within Finance and Accountancy. The service operates the debt recovery function for Sundry Debts and deals with the processing and reconciliation of all payments received by the Council.
The post of Debt Recovery Officer – Periodic Receipts is responsible for ensuring that all income due to the Council relating to Sundry Debts, is raised correctly in the Sundry Debts system – ASH and recovered in accordance with the Council’s Debt Recovery Policy and Procedures.
You will require excellent communication and IT skills, a minimum of two years’ experience of working in an office environment. You must be able to work as part of a team and be able to prioritise your own workload. If you think you have the right skills to undertake this role, we would love to hear from you.
Hours to be worked over a 2 week period: Week 1 - Thursday and Friday, Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
