Lyme Community Primary School is situated in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, on the borders of both Wigan and Warrington, within easy reach of the M6 and routes to Manchester and Liverpool. The Governors of Lyme Community Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher to work in partnership with the Headteacher to lead, support and inspire our pupils, staff, parents, and local community. The role will include having a daily teaching commitment across KS1 and KS2 as well as leadership and management time. The Governing Body welcome applications from teachers with relevant experience across the primary age range.
The post holder should:
· Be an outstanding teacher with a positive attitude and the highest expectations of pupils' attainment and behaviour
· Have excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and provision for pupils with additional needs
· Have strong leadership skills in managing and motivating staff and lead by example, setting high standards for all
· Have the knowledge to support effective teaching and learning
· Have an ability to drive forward developments in the curriculum
· Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff, parents, governors, and the community
