Making A Difference as A Grants and Financial Support Officer in the Finance Department.
The role will be based within the Corporate Services Finance section. The successful candidate will provide support to the Principal Accountant in the provision of an effective accountancy service to the Corporate Services Department and relevant Portfolios. They will also be responsible for the operation and administration of the Members Grants Scheme and the Council’s Strategic Grants Programme.
The successful applicant will have excellent numerical, written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work to deadlines and to respond to the ad-hoc needs of the service. The ability to analyse financial data and advise appropriately is a key skill of the role.
