Recreational Services are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Fitness Instructors to work within the Council's Fitness Facilities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Newton-le-Willows Health and Fitness to recruit a highly motivated Fitness Instructor with vision, flair and excellent customer care skills. The successful candidate will be part of an inspired and successful team who have a proven track record in achieving high quality results and delivering an excellent service through our Gym Welcome programme.
The successful candidate must be able to complete the fundamentals of the role and should be competent in delivering group exercise classes and have the right skills set to inspire customers.
Ideally, we are looking for an individual with first- hand experience working in the leisure industry, who enjoys working as part of a team and has excellent communication skills with a good understanding of service delivery.
If you have the relevant experience, plus the ability to maintain a demanding work load and assist with the development of new initiatives relating to fitness, this position would be ideal for you. You must be flexible in terms of hours of work, and willing to work a shift rota including evenings and weekends. The post is based at Newton-le-Willows Health & Fitness, however you may be required to work at any of the sites within our sports and leisure facilities.

We have 1x 37 hours per week post based and Newton-Le-Willows Health & Fitness Centre and 1x17 hours per week post base Queens Park Health & Fitness Centre
