Job Description
The Governors of St Aidan’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated Learning Assistant to support a child within our school. This post is linked to external funding and will cease in line with this or if the child leaves the setting.
The successful person would need to have knowledge and experience of a therapeutic approach for children who have experienced trauma.

The person we appoint will:

- have successful experience of working with children
- be an excellent communicator and team player
- be pro-active in approach in supporting very high academic standards
- have high expectations of all children’s attitude and behaviour
- be eager to develop their skills and experience
- be committed to excellence and enjoyment
-be committed to the safeguarding, welfare and personal development of young people

- have experience of supporting children with additional needs
